Later, he devised a proprietary real estate marketing system that he still owns today, called the One-Day Priority Sales Event.  As a broker and marketer, Masi used his system to pre-sell over $100 million in resort properties in a very short period of time. Masi was written up in the local newspapers as having devised the fastest selling real estate in the history of Ocean City, NJ.  His first pre-sale event yielded 65 units sold in 3-1/2 hours, with a 92% retention rate.  Sixty days later, Masi and his team pre-sold 78 one-bedroom suites from a parking lot, prior to construction. 

These projects were followed by a 100-acre land subdivision that was 50% pre-sold in one day, and countless other high velocity pre-sale events. Larry Masi is also credited with having developed Ocean City’s only year-round condo-hotel with an indoor pool. The property features a retractable glass roof over the pool, and atrium style lobby and 79 all-suite luxury units. Mr. Masi’s innovative approach to resort real estate marketing help to sustain Ocean City’s image as America’s Greatest Family Resort.

International Sales, Licensing, Marketing & Distribution – ALG Marketing

During the early years of Mr. Masi’s business career, while marketing major real estate projects, Mr. Masi decided to launch a company that would develop products and market them on a national and global basis.  Challenged by one of his associates to “take a product on the market nationally,” Mr. Masi launched ALG Marketing for that purpose.  Under Masi’s personal direction, ALG successfully promoted and sold a selection of novelty gift items that he created, including a line of products called Emotion Cards.  Masi’s company effectively launched a national PR campaign from which he and his products were featured on radio and in newspapers across the country. The campaign culminated with the licensing of one of his products to a German publishing company that heard of his products’ success in the United States.

Creator of the World’s First Virtual Mall – The Mall Without Walls

After taking a few years off from real estate, Masi was the creator and co-founder of a national marketing company that offered people the opportunity to have their own home-based business. He devised the entire business plan, marketing plan, launch ideas and initial products for the company and launched the companywith an old fraternity brother from Gettysburg College.  Masi’s concept of a virtual mall become the world’s first virtual mall, even before the advent of Internet access.  The company went from zero sales to being a publicly traded company with 18 months, and has since done several billion is sales.
