Larry Masi is a visonary developer of ideas, concepts and projects that enhance other people’s lives. After starting his career selling seashore properties in Ocean City, NJ, Masi quickly moved into real estate development and marketing. He is credited with having conceived and pioneered the first waterfront townhome project in Ocean City in the 1970′s.
Record-Setting, Revolutionary Real Estate Marketing
Later, he devised a proprietary real estate marketing system that he still owns today, called the One-Day Priority Sales Event. As a broker and marketer, Masi used his system to pre-sell over $100 million in resort properties in a very short period of time. Masi was written up in the local newspapers as having devised the fastest selling real estate in the history of Ocean City, NJ. His first pre-sale event yielded 65 units sold in 3-1/2 hours, with a 92% retention rate. Sixty days later, Masi and his team pre-sold 78 one-bedroom suites from a parking lot, prior to construction.
These projects were followed by a 100-acre land subdivision that was 50% pre-sold in one day, and countless other high velocity pre-sale events. Larry Masi is also credited with having developed Ocean City’s only year-round condo-hotel with an indoor pool. The property features a retractable glass roof over the pool, and atrium style lobby and 79 all-suite luxury units. Creator of The World’s First Virtual Mall – The Mall Without Walls
After taking a few years off from real estate, Masi was the creator and co-founder of a national marketing company that offered people the opportunity to have their own home-based business. He devised the entire business plan, marketing plan, launch ideas and initial products for the company and launched the companywith an old fraternity brother from Gettysburg College. Masi’s concept of a virtual mall become the world’s first virtual mall, even before the advent of Internet access. The company went from zero sales to being a publicly traded company with 18 months, and has since done several billion is sales.
God’s Theater of Miracles – The Atlantic Christian School
However, if you were to ask Mr. Masi what the high point in his life was, other than his wife and three children, Masi would say, The Atlantic Christian School. According to Masi, he had the front row seat at God’s theater of miracles. This small school of just over 100 students was severely in debt and without a permanent hiome when Masi and three colleagues took on the challenge of building a new campus and school. Masi and his team volunteered for 2-1/2 years in order to make the new school a reality. Today, as a result of the Lord’s provision and their hard work, the Atlantic Christian School enjoys a 68,000 sq. ft state-of-the-art school building on a 37-acre campus with 5 ball fields and a track. The land was acquired by Masi’s group known as ACS Development Associates, LLC and was donated to the school during the project. The entire project was managed by Christian Community Development Corporation, of which Mr. Masi served as president. A Life-Changing Location – New Mountaintop Destination Resort, Spa, Wellness Center and Aerial Tram
Following the construction of the school, Mr. Masi embarked on some new projects in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, including a mountaintop destination condo-hotel, with a spa and wellness center.
